    Thanks! After reviewing many products, including your two videos on this, I went ahead this morning and applied the Penetrol to the cladding on my 2004 Honda Element EX which looked great when I bought it a year ago. but had turned faded gray after the heavy rains. It looks spectacular now. I put it on a bit thick with a foam brush and microfiber cloth. Thought about buffing it out but it looked so good. I'll give it a good time to dry before I drive it. Wish I had a photo to show. We'll see how it hold up. Thanks again.

    Great video to replace the mast but in getting the broken piece out of the motor/gear section a big spring went "boing" and I'm sure it is supposed to have some tension when I put it back together. Where can i find out about the internals of the antenna mast motor and how to put the spring back?

    Great tip on the oil plug washer. My Tacoma washer has to be popped off with a screwdriver every time. Amazing that it sticks like that with the oil residue. Draining the filter canister is always a messy operation.

    Would this cause the car to not crank? Car won’t start and I noticed that many of the boots were flooded in oil.

    • @tongo117
      @tongo117 3 дні тому

      If a cylinder is flooded so badly that the oil gets into the boot where it snaps onto the plug that can cause a misfire.. If multiple are flooded then yes, I would think that may cause a no start..

    You should only rinse with a hard stream from a water hose or from a distance with a 25 or 40 degree pressure washer nozzle...NOT a turbo nozzle. The turbo nozzle will destroy the wood.

    Be sure to heavily water any plants / vegetation b4 apply/rinsing off your bleach cleaner. POOL CHLORINE AT WALLY WORLD IS $5 a gal and 10% S/H. This is all your company’s are using for your house , deck, fence , driveway , sidewalk and even roof cleanings .. Depending on how dirty / mold the surfaces are will kinda give ya your mix ratio but you really cant mess it up, use u some surfactant (dawn) not much but be sure to have e some as it just adds in adhesion of your cleaner - S/H solution Remember it’s $5 a gallon for 10% S/H. Apply with soft wash side of pressure washer ( very low hose like pressure) allow solution to sit 10-15 then rinse with water be sure to heavily water any grass and or plants that are in the projects path!!! No need to pay these fellas $500-1000 for such a ez job, well unless u have the $$ line that then sit back and watch em make hella profit off ya then as their also using your water to do the job..

    ITEMS NEEDED FOR THIS REPAIR: Power equipment would make this a lot quicker, but doable with the good ol' fashion elbow grease. - 7 mm and 10 mm socket wrench - Small Philips & flathead screw drivers - Funnel(s), bottle/jug for fuel - Optional: locking pliers to clamp fuel line while taking off carburetor (especially if you know that's where the issue is and don't want to empty fuel tank) PRO TIP: take photos of things as you go in case you forget how to put it all back together We recently got a lawn mower for free from someone after I left my battery-powered one out in the rain. It worked well until it ran out of gas and wouldn't start again. I poured some fuel into the carburetor and it started for just a few seconds. As per usual, I came to UA-cam looking for an answer. I was REALLY not trying to take apart the carburetor since it seemed super annoying, but when I found out from the local repair shop that it would be a 7-day turnaround, I figured it was worth a shot. I had to run to the local hardware store to grab some carb cleaner and some locking pliers. If I would have followed all of these instructions the first time, I would have had it in one go (probably about 60-90 minutes repair time). But, I forgot to remove the main jet and emulsification tube the first time. Second time around I removed these and cleaned them, even though they looked clean like the video showed. Voila! We're up and running again. Thanks so much for the incredibly detailed and helpful video!

    Some people may ask why one would spend so much time fixing what could be bought for such a small price. I don't like seeing what isn't really trash being sent to the landfill. The actual physical effort to fix it is minimal. Some waste their time scrolling through social media and don't earn a dime doing so. Why not take a few hours and save landfill space for real junk and hone some fix-it skills. Great video showing the minimal errors and pitfalls that made it through editing.
